Happy New Year!!!!
Wishing you all the best for 2014 2015 😛 (I’m going to be doing that for months!). For the new year, I decided to change the theme/ appearance of my blog. I may change it again during the year, but for now I kinda like it! What do you think? Do you like this or the previous one? I would like to know.
And since this seems to be the time for making goals (I don’t like the word resolution) for the coming year, I have been thinking about what I want for this blog. Are there any goals I want to achieve?
I am very new to the blogging community so until now, I have been posting what I like, whenever I could. No type of schedule at all. But I think for the next year, I would like to become more focused and regular about my blogging. However, I don’t want to put unnecessary pressure on myself. Especially since this year I will hopefully graduate with my Masters degree, and until then I will have plenty of stress from trying to achieve that!
Therefore, my goal for this blog is to try to publish at least 4 posts per month. If I post more, then great! That means that I have a lot to share. And if I post less (which will probably happen as my exam gets nearer), then that’s also ok. NO PRESSURE!!! I started this blog to gain pleasure from it. So I will try not to turn it into one more thing in my life that causes stress! :p
I have plenty of more goals that I would like to achieve for this blog. But I think these are long term goals and I hesitate to write them down. Only because I am a person who tends to want to do too much, all at the same time, which inevitably leads to stress!!!
You may be wondering why I mention avoiding stress a lot in this post. This is because for the last half of 2014, I was having health problems. Part of it was caused by years of built up tension which I wasn’t even fully aware of. I am still dealing with it, but this experience is definitely a wake up call for me to take a look at my life and figure out what is causing me anxiety.
So, here’s to a stress free year, full of fun, laughter, and blog posts! 😀
