Fauxdori for Xmas presents

This post will be short and sweet. Just want to share what I’ve been up to and what’s been keeping me away from blogging. I have been busy preparing for the holidays and one of the things was finishing the making of presents.

This year I wanted to give something hand made as well. And perhaps if I get good enough, in future I could give only hand made presents.

So this year, I made some fauxdori’s (and a desktop calendar). It’s really hard!!! They look so easy and simple to make and they are up to a certain extent. But if you want something really perfect (like handmade ones I’ve seen being sold by private makers), then it requires a whole lot of time and effort! And the proper tools!!!

Well, mine are already wrapped and ready to be received. They didn’t all turn out perfect, but I think it’s a good start. Here are some pics of them in the process of being made. I will later on take some pictures (once they have been unwrapped) of the final products. Let me know what you think.

And now I wish you a happy holiday season!

Till next time,

P.
