Guess what I did yesterday?

Soooo, I was pretty much stalking the Filofax Facebook sales pages yesterday (okay, I’ve been stalking them for a couple of days now) and I wasn’t having any luck finding someone selling the types of Filofaxes I wanted within the EU and at an affordable price.

So I decided to scroll all the way down to see if there was anything that still hadn’t been sold. The thought behind it being that perhaps if the person still hadn’t sold the item, they may be willing to reduce their selling price. And I was lucky enough to find TWO, yes two Filofaxes :). Both Charlestons and one at an even more reduced price. Yay!!!!

Needless to say, I pounced on the opportunity and with in a few minutes I had already paid for one of them. Now I am happy to report that come Monday, both pocket and compact size charlestons will be shipped to me. 😀

I still can’t believe it! I almost bought them from the Filofax Italy webshop as they were going for 50% off! But for some reason my browser was saying that it wasn’t safe to proceed to the checkout (something about possible theft of personal/ banking information). So of course I didn’t go through with it and was very sad. However, I have now bought these ones at approximately the same price I would have got it from the webshop plus shipping. So all in all, I think I still scored a good deal.

One of the sellers actually comes from Italy, so I used that opportunity to ask her about the legitimacy of the Italian Filofax site. She assured me that it was okay to order from there so I will soon order some more Filofaxes that I have my eyes on.

But for now, I am super happy and excited, and doing a little happy dance (on the inside) every time I think about it. hehe. I will of course, do a post with some pics of my lovely purchases when they arrive.
