New year, new planner size

Happy New Year everyone!

2021 was just full of twists and turns, wins and challenges. I continue to be grateful for my life and the lives of my loved ones. As the dutch like to say, it can always be worse! I hope 2022 sees some more improvement and growth in all areas of my life.

Now, onto planner things!

It was not until a few days ago that I made my decision on which kind of planner to use in 2022. I was going back and forth between two options: an old unused Hobonichi weeks, or A6 rings.

What sealed the deal was that Hobonichi weeks is from the year 2017. After some research I learned that 2023 will be a year which has similar dates to 2017. So instead using a bunch of stickers (which makes the planner more bulky) or tip-ex to re-date the whole planner (also a lot of work), I will hold on to the Hobonichi weeks and use it next year.

So it’s A6 rings for 2022! What also makes this a great choice for me is that I can transfer some of the inserts from my pocket sized planner instead of remaking/ rewriting a bunch of inserts. The holes for the pocket rings align perfectly with the A6 rings, so no re-punching needed. I save time, paper and ink!

Something that doesn’t change this year is that I am still going to try to use up the stationery and stickers that I have. It means that not everything is perfectly fitting together but I like it. My planner is unique to me, is used and loved. I’m looking forward to seeing how and if the A6 will be a good fit for me this year.

What planner(s) will you be using in 2022?

’til next time
