Organising my home office

It’s the summer holidays which for me means it’s time to sort out, organise, and declutter. I’ve started with my home office. It had become a mess. One of my bookshelves broke when we moved to this new house and I hadn’t had time to replace it. Anyway, if you’re interested to see how it was and how it looks now, watch the video below.

I’m still working on it, throwing old papers and documents away, and will have to sort out all my unused planner things. However, I’m happy with how it’s turned out and look forward to using this space. I find that the summer holidays is the best time for me to do my “spring cleaning”. The days are longer, and I have the time (and energy) to sort out, deep clean, toss out, recycle or buy new furniture and assemble it if needed.

How many times do you deep clean / organise in a year? I only manage to do it once a year although I would like to do it more regularly. However, I declutter twice a year, once in the summer and then also between Christmas and New Years. I’m looking for tips on how to do this more efficiently so if you have any tips or resources, feel free to leave a comment below.

‘Till next time,

P
