Quick post: A question for the ladies…

I have a question for all you planner women out there. I’ve debated asking this question and finally just decided to come out with it coz, well, it’s a natural thing and I shouldn’t be embarrassed to ask!

So the question is: how do you ladies track….well…you’re monthly visitor? 😉

I’m trying to find a way that is discrete as my planner is usually visible, and I am not having any luck. Things I want to track are when I’m off and on the pill, my moods, pain level, etc. Do you have a separate planner for this, or a separate section? Monthly or weekly view? Stickers? Dots? Code?

Hope to hear from you. And thanks in advance!

  1. I used to track it in an app, mostly because the app did all the work of calculating when I could expect my period and ovulation etc. And also allowed you to map trends in terms of length, symptoms and severity. Ended up ot installing it when I went to the new phone, and now I can’t remember what it was called.

Thinking in more analog terms… If you want it on your weekly pages maybe just a dotted colour system is best, if it’s frequently visible and makes you feel embarrassed. Otherwise might be easier to get a foldout annual calendar to fill it into, might be easier to track that way and much easier to keep discrete, just place it away from sections frequently visible to others.
